Verdict

Coo Star Sivola is hard to fancy on recent form but Head To The Stars is something of a standing dish around here. The Big Lense won four times in Ireland and was second at Leicester on his most recent outing but VOLCANO (NAP) makes more appeal. Katie Powell is good value for her 7lb claim and Sheila Lewis’ stayer ran well twice here at the end of last year, finishing ahead of Saturday’s Ascot sixth One True King on one occasion, before an honourable fifth in the Classic Chase at Warwick. Seigneur Des As was only beaten a nose at Lingfield eight days ago but this is more competitive.
