Verdict

GO TO WAR (NAP) was challenging when unseating Paddy Brennan at Exeter and was then beaten just over four lengths behind Ballee at Taunton with the winner impressing at that track again last week. Gentleman Jacques is steadily improving and has course experience while Jour D‘Evasion has shown ability in both hurdle starts so far with his latest fourth coming in a race that’s already produced a couple of winners. He holds Warwick runner-up Myfanwy‘s Magic on the form book.
