Polinamix is the percentage call here although there are a few potential dangers if the cards fall right. Key Phil ran well at Newbury last time and isn't on too bad a mark once Sean Quinlan's claim is taken into account, the yard's in fair form and track and trip should be fine so he's one of the likelier ones. Tighe Caster is on a fair mark but was well held in that Newbury contest and has a fair bit to prove. Marked Man is a consistent sort but is paying for a couple of wins in the autumn and probably needs to come down in the weights. Basic Fact is capable but not straightforward, connections now resort to a visor having previously used blinkers and an eyeshield. Beesneez is worth a market check whilst Colorado Pearl must be respected but she has had breathing problems in the past and it wasn't a great race that she won on her penultimate start. The selection also had little to beat at Folkestone once the disappointing Treasury Counsel had been swept aside but he had previously shown up well behind a couple of Nicholls hotpots. He was rated 130 at his peak over hurdles so a mark of 124 for his chase handicap bow should be workable. There should be a little more to come as he's had just three chase starts and Polinamix should be a leading player here.
