Comber Mill won this last year when only 2lb lower but his form since, mostly over fences, has left much to be desired. Red Mix was disappointing making his debut for Richard Newland at Sandown and quickly reverts to hurdles. He is capable of better but may be too close in the weights to FLASHING GLANCE (NAP). Suited by sharp tracks like this and only a pound higher than when successful here a year ago, the top weight ran well reunited with Richard Johnson at Cheltenham last month and the champion is in the saddle again today. Mad Jack Mytton still isn’t back to his best while Stylish Dancer is returning from a break. Sparkleandshine has switched stables since a beaten favourite at Huntingdon in December.
