Verdict

Jimmy The Digger and Finnick Glory made promising starts at Bangor and Southwell respectively. Imperial Elysian is also a likely improver but there are some interesting newcomers in this including Nicky Henderson’s Nonesuch, a half-sister to five winners in France. SADLERMOR cost only £12,000 and doesn’t have a National Hunt pedigree but Kim Bailey has a very good crop of bumpers horses this season and he’ll know what’s required. Parkin is another debutant worth a second look.
