In depth

Verdict

Favorite Girl made all and never looked like being caught at Doncaster last month. But Mike Appleby's mare will have to defy an 8lb higher mark to follow up and could find FAERIE REEL too strong. McCoy was on board when she won at Southwell in December and Kim Bailey's five-year-old gave weight and a beating to subsequent winner Debdebdeb at Newcastle last month. Doyly Carte appears to have lost the plot and One Lucky Lady has also been out of sorts, as has Stephanie Frances. Fairy Alisha and Bollin Judith have a mountain to climb on these terms.
