    Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Daraybadd, Storm of Applause and Canadian Storm, and the tentative vote is given to Daraybadd. The selection was a fair fourth behind Chiaro when last seen but this fair flat performer enters handicaps on a very lenient and he looks a val;ue bet in an open affair. Storm Of Applause rates the main danger on his latest sixth behind Lysander but he was let down by his jumping on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Canadian Storm won well last time when beating Wizri but that was only a claimer and he will need to improve again to win this more competitive affair off this higher mark. Nazimabad is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder La Dolfina hails from a top yard and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Daraybadd.
