Verdict

CUBSWIN beat a subsequent hurdles winner on the Flat at Bath in July and made a winning start over obstacles herself at Fakenham. She was all out to score in the end so a penalty is a worry but today's opposition looks modest in the extreme. The exposed Phoenix Dawn was beaten 16 lengths when second on his latest start over course and distance while Hernandes stopped quickly at Warwick last week so Flat winners Tamayef and Mutoondresdashorse make more appeal, though will have their stamina to prove.
