Tidal Way followed up his debut second at Stratford by showing a nice turn of foot to beat previous winner Halogen at Bangor. He shouldn't be far away but there probably wasn't a lot between Charlie Longsdon's grey and AMORALIST on the Flat and Nicky Henderson's newcomer gets 7lb here. He will almost certainly know his job and can get off to a winning start as River Valley doesn't look entirely trustworthy and Waving's fourth at Dundalk in July was probably a fluke.
