River Purple reverted to type at Worcester during the week after surprising the frustrating Noche De Reyes here last month. Nicolas Chauvin is looking one-paced but course and distance winner Deadly Approach is fancied to run well and Un Beau Roman and Festive Affair are interesting dropping down in class. FAIR LOCH was only reeled in close home at Ayr last month and will enjoy the sharp track. He’s only had the six chase starts so is less exposed than most of these. Thankyou Very Much is probably a few pounds too high now after last season’s exploits.
