Althrey Ruler started his chasing career rather late in life and hasn't really achieved a great deal although finishing runner-up and third in two of his three outings. However, when you consider he was taking on the likes of Thisthatandtother and Subsequent winner Papua it is hardly surprising he failed to make much impact. This is a considerable drop in class for him and he should make no mistake. Boxers Double has failed to beat a rival home in two outings over fences, while chasing debutante Brady Boys was no better than a plater over hurdles and has only beaten three horses home in his last three outings over hurdles. He has plenty to find, as does Greenacres Boy, who looks devoid of any ability. See More Snow has hinted he may be capable of picking up a small contest, but he has ben absent since March and may need the outing. Medelai is only moderate, but even she cannot be left out of calculations in this, but if Althrey Ruler is ever going to win over fences, this is the day.
