Kristinor gets the vote here with Dramatic Review and Josear rating the main dangers. The selection has been in the fair form on the flat of late without winning. He hails from a yard that do well in this type of event is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Dramatic Review rates the main danger as at least he has experience on his side and was a fair fourth behind Aviation last time out. He may be ridden with more restraint here and with Tony McCoy in the plate he will not be far away. Josear is steadily improving with each race but he continues to be let down by his jumping and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Optimum and Piran showed ability on their hurdling debuts but did not progress on their next runs and look opposable on that basis and for the winner we return to Kristinor.
