In the bumper, we will side with Tessanoora ahead of Danbury, Keralam and Crafty Lady. The selection was sent off as favourite for her last race having shown promise on her debut. However, she again finished third, although she again ran with promise. With her stable among the bumper winners of late, she holds obvious claims in this race. Danbury cost 40,000 guineas but he will need to have learned a great deal from his debut, although he is likely to have done so. As you would expect from a horse bred by the Aga Khan, Keralam is well-bred and it would be no surprise to see him go well in a race that seems to lack strength in depth. Crafty Lady showed promise when second in a steadily-run bumper at Fontwell last time but holds claims on that basis, Saddlers Lady is out of a winning jumper, but Princess Yum Yum is hard to build a strong case for. Once again, then, for the winner we return to Tessanoora.
