Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

It's entirely feasible that Bandon Roc will improve on his debut at Warwick last month but this opener should chiefly concern the two previous winners in the race. THE GIPPER (NAP) was still in front when falling at the last at Chepstow on his latest start having scored over this trip at the Welsh track previously. He loves the mud and compensation awaits with a clear round ahead of Itshard To No, who still has plenty to prove on the going and has only managed one place so far in three runs since winning a Downpatrick maiden for previous connections.
