Verdict

Shalakar tackles this trip for the first time but was staying on over the minimum here last time so should be suited. Merry Milan won a point at Kinsale by 15 lengths last summer so he won't have a problem staying but both Battle Of Ideas and Royal Magic face stiff tasks under penalties. WEEBILL didn't have much to do to score over the minimum at Fakenham and is another stepping up in trip but he looks to have the scope to do better and gets the nod.
