Master Wells can improve again to beat Adventurist, with Beau de Turgeon and Smart Mover others worth a mention at least. Master Wells shaped well enough when second to Cloudy Lane on his Haydock debut in January. A winning stayer on the Flat, this extra furlong should help him to quickly go one better on only his second outing for the Hobbs stable. Adventurist went down by a short-head over the course-and-distance last time, and with Mick Fitzgerald to help, should make a race of it with the selection. Beau de Turgeon has not really progressed, his effort at Wetherby being somewhat disappointing, but the better ground today may help him to improve. Smart Mover was well behind Screenplay at Newbury last time but had shown promise in two runs earlier and can give a good account, while the market is the best guide to the rest. Master Wells has more scope than most and should be up to the task today.
