Verdict
Tony McCoy teamed up with an Irish trainer to win this race twelve months ago and it would be no surprise to see Boragh Princess go close but supporters do have to forgive a run at Kilbeggan which was just too bad to be true and may have been down to the fast ground. Astrolibra continues to look vulnerable although she is weighted to reverse August's form with Black Annie; Prescelli and Miss Overdrive have claims back from a break whilst Try Cat has to be feared with her yard in blistering form having shaped well at Worcester. Another yard in terrific form is Charlie Longsdon's and he's represented by BE MY LIGHT who took a step forwards on her second outing over hurdles when placed at Newton Abbot and she wouldn't need to improve significantly on that to open her account.
