Demi Beau is the stand out at the weights with Final Bid and Green Prospect next best. Evan Williams's runner was a pretty decent handicap chaser on his day but he seems to have fallen out of love with the game judged on this season's evidence. At his best, he'd win here with his head in his chest but he's been beaten a long way on all four starts since May. The list of alternatives are headed by Final Bid and Green Prospect who are both winners in this grade and are both pretty consistent. The former is a course and distance winner who has a decent record when Jamie Moore rides. Aside from that trio, Monash Lad and Indian Star are worth a second look but we'll stick with Demi Beau in the hope that this drop in grade will be enough to reverse his fortunes.
