Mystery can beat A Bit Of Fun and Shady Anne, with New Currency one to note in the market. Mystery won as he liked on his belated return to action at Wincanton on Boxing Day, beating On A Deal easily, and as that was his first outing in 11 months, he should improve again. Tom George's charge has obviously benefited from a breathing operation and can prove a cut above this lot. A Bit Of Fun, successful on the all-weather on the level, appreciated the drop to selling company when scoring under Russ Garritty at Doncaster in December, and with the capable Simon Walker in the plate for this amateur riders event, he can be expected to go close. Shady Anne was fit enough when winning here last time but that was over further, and she will be tapped for toe today, while New Currency does not boast any form of note but comes from a top yard. Dalriath carries a 7lb penalty for an all-the-way win in a Catterick maiden hurdle and is another that has more on his plate, and so we return to Mystery as the answer, with more improvement to come.
