In depth

Verdict

It remains to be seen how Bagging Turf gets on under a penalty for winning in testing ground at Sandown especially as runner-up HOLLOW BAY is weighted to reverse running. Paul Webber's mare was beaten less than a length and gets the vote to open her account. Unbuckled went close again in a handicap over 2m here last time having won a novices' race at Doncaster earlier while blinkers are applied to Brise Vendeenne after placing for the seventh time in succession when third in a handicap hurdle here. Handpicked finished closer when placed over these hurdles without looking like catching the winner.
