In depth

Verdict

McCoy could have probably ridden Rebecca Curtis' Scorpion newcomer The Clonlisk Bug if he wanted but has chosen OUTRATH instead. He has first run for Jim Best but really caught the eye when fifth at Punchestown in April for previous connections and any improvement on that will make him hard to beat. The Hon Mackinlay was completely tailed off at Sandown on his reappearance but Timon's Tara ran well on her debut over course and distance last month. Arthamint's fourth at Huntingdon was an improvement while Dye Of A Needle won a point-to-point at Athlacca in May.
