It is hard to get away from the chance of Honan who is confidently expected to beat Go Green and Trickstep. This is a pretty weak affair and Martin Pipe's six-year-old showed enough decent form last season to justify the short odds on offer. The pick of his runs was a two length second to Caspian Dusk in a much better event. If running to anyway near that form he should easily oblige. Go Green has been beaten a long way in stronger company and will appreciate this drop in class. Meanwhile Trickstep is very lightly raced and open to plenty of improvement. Vrubel has shown a glimmer of ability and looks the pick of the remainder, but this looks an easy task for Honan who is a confident choice.
