Verdict

The in-form John Ryan will be hoping Fairyhill Run can get a run from her reserve spot as she would be an obvious threat. Snow Falcon won this back in 2018 and has a Grade 2 victory the following year to his credit. He was beaten seven lengths by Darasso over 2m3f here though this is more like his trip. The winner ran a fine race in the Plate at Galway but has yet to prove he stays this far, though he's probably best of his stable's five entries. Willie Mullins is triple-handed with Paul Townend on board Annamix, who would like more give in the ground, but expect a big run from FARCLAS (NAP). Gordon Elliott's charge was last seen when fifth in the Grand National and he'd been running very well in major handicaps previously so gets the nod to defy an absence. Conflated also goes for the yard and he landed a Grade 3 novices' event in March and had a run on the Flat three weeks ago to put him right for this while Aramax is another Elliott entry and he was conceding 15lb when beaten four lengths by A Wave Of The Sea at Galway, with The Big Lense in sixth, so should take his revenge.
