Finsceal Go Deo ran very well when runner-up in a Navan maiden but was beaten a long way here on Tuesday. Very little separates those with an official mark with Sectarius just coming out best. He couldn't get close to Alabama Pearl over 7f at Gowran but was conceding 5lb and wasn't stopping at the finish. Fashion Flair's short-head defeat at Killarney came almost a year ago but Randall Poets Lass caught the eye at Naas and can only improve. Water Nymph and HIGHLAND RAHY have had plenty of chances but the latter's close second to Lord Vader at Cork was a good effort and he gets the vote though Simpson's Paradox is better than he showed at Bellewstown and further rain would aid his cause.
