AIKHAL attempted to make all over this trip at Cork a couple of weeks ago but was caught in the closing stages by the more experienced Confident Star. He can go one better even though the winner's yard is dually represented in this. Shane Foley chooses Shaky Operator over the unraced Fair Joe though his mount will need to show major progress from his run at the Curragh. Good Heavens ran a fine race over a mile on the latter track last month and further progress will see him involved while Sen Ding has been very narrowly beaten the last twice and looks certain to get into contention, holding Golden Beach on latest form. Fiach McHugh showed very good speed at the Curragh and the selection's stable companion Sussex will have come on for his run on the same track while Paddy Twomey's Auriela, a daughter of Churchill, is one to note for the future.
