Holy Water ran very well behind Punch Bag at Tramore in April and the winner has boosted the form with subsequent victories. He's lightly raced and looks certain to make further progress but the guaranteed race fitness of OIGHEAR DUBH may prove too much for him. Tony Martin's charge hadn't shown much before a fine run on testing ground at Ballinrobe and looks the one to be on. Prince Kup, a winner on very testing ground at Longchamp, showed promise on his first two starts for Edward O'Grady but was well beaten on the Flat at Clonmel in May and could just need this. The very nicely-bred Well Taken, owned by J P McManus and a relative of the brilliant Dunguib, is an interesting newcomer.
