Winning point-to-pointer Deputy's Pass put a moderate hurdling debut at Punchestown behind him to finish an excellent runner-up at Roscommon but looks a staying type so may find a couple of these too quick. Estilaam showed nothing in his first two runs but did much better when runner-up to Frontline at Killarney. However that was in July of last year and the absence has to be a concern as does the winner showing little subsequently. That's Nice didn't take to hurdles at Roscommon a fortnight ago but had some decent form in bumpers previously and a fast pace would see him difficult to keep out of the frame though THOMAS LEDGER looks the one to be on. Harry Rogers' charge has been steadily progressive and has been a bit unfortunate to come up strong opposition in his last two starts. He would have finished closer to First To Boogie at Bellewstown but for getting unbalanced and Katie Walsh can steer him home.
