Winning point-to-pointer and bumper MINELLA FOR VALUE has an absence since April to overcome but has some decent form in staying hurdles to his credit and looks the one to be on. He holds Sky Pilot on earlier form but the latter has been going very well on the Flat and there shouldn't be much between them. King Malik looks certain to be winning soon and was only just run out of it by Flamenco Prince at Downpatrick but Akatara has now gone 21 races over hurdles without winning and faces some promising rivals. Connaught Manor made a winning debut in a Roscommon bumper in July but has been a bit disappointing in his two subsequent starts over hurdles.
