Nelson Road arrives with a penalty for last week's victory over 2m2f at Down Royal where he made most. Dropping back in trip won't be a problem in these conditions and he should be thereabouts again. Vigil was once very highly regarded but has never fulfilled his potential though he's been lightly-raced for his age and shouldn't be dismissed. Mr Everest has only had three runs and never been over the trip or on the ground though he has plenty of scope but the vote goes to BAYAN, a prolific winner over hurdles who ran a fine race over this trip behind Snow Falcon at Killarney last month. Highland Fling very nearly won over the trip at Galway and found dropping back to 1m4f at the Curragh against him so he's another with chances in a tight handicap.
