Code Of The West has been placed in three of his four starts over timber but hasn't raced over the smaller obstacles since June last year. He was gambled on over fences at Killarney in May but again came up short and this is his first start since. This won't take much winning but preference is still for DUC DE SAVOIE, who showed promise on his hurdling debut at Cork in January and has run some decent races on the Flat recently. Parabolica was placed in a bumper earlier this year but the others don't have much to recommend them.
