Kevin Prendergast won this a year ago with an odds-on chance and will be hoping to complete the double with GLENDARAGH. The son of Ad Valorem hasn't been seen since making a very promising debut in a Curragh maiden in May that has worked out well but should be ready for this. David Wachman has his juveniles in good form so Tradition, who made a bright start over a mile at Cork behind Honey Of A Kitten, is much respected. Gentleman Duke has run two sound races over today's trip on ground with some give at Sligo while Jim Bolger's Deire Na Sli found the minimum trip too short at Cork after a much better effort over 6f at the Curragh. Tommy Stack threw Miss Fairbanks in at the deep end when contesting a Listed event at Tipperary but she was by no means disgraced and is obviously well regarded.
