Both of Ducky Mallon’s recent wins came over 6f and he was beaten over today’s trip in between. ECOEYE makes more appeal as it was heavy going when he won over 7f at Roscommon and a 3lb rise may not be enough to prevent him going in again. Dragon Khan and Avalanche won on their penultimate starts but neither could cope with a hike in the weights last time and the former has not raced since April. Club Wexford continues to creep up the handicap, despite not winning, and Beau Satchel remains 5lb higher than an earlier success at Galway.
