Verdict
Tipperary winner Paradis De Thaix ran well off a higher mark at Galway and has to go on the short-list here along with Pistol Jack, who is on a hat-trick after wins at Kilbeggan and Galway. Holly Tree is a little long in the tooth now but made an impressive return from a lay-off last month and is well treated on his old form while it's difficult to knock the consistency of Francis Du Mesnil, though it's now two years since he last visited the winner's enclosure and he's creeping up the weights again. FOR A FINISH has improved for the fitting of blinkers, winning at Cork and running the progressive Jamsie Hall to four lengths at Tramore last time. He can regain the winning thread here.
