Verdict

Plenty of these arrive here in good form including the bottom pair ROYAL BLUE STAR and Trans City. The former was having only her fourth start when, dropping back to this trip, she landed a Navan maiden on fast ground in good style. She looks to have plenty of scope and may just have too much pace for Ger Lyons' gelding, who has been raised 8lb for his victory at Killarney. Shirley Blake won a maiden here in September and ran well enough on her return in a Leopardstown handicap to suggest she is capable of scoring again soon while Smoky Cloud also produced a fair run on his reappearance at Wexford and is another to keep on the right side. Any rain would aid the cause of Headford Lady, who goes much better when there is plenty of give in the ground.
