The old-timer On The Fringe, once the top hunter chaser in the business, is still capable of a big run but was no match for MINELLA FOR VALUE at Killarney and Declan Queally's charge followed up with another impressive victory between the flags at Tralee. He looks too good for these though Vinnie Luck has also been in fine form and only just failed to catch the useful Sambremont at Portrush after completing a hat-trick of point-to-point victories. The remainder look up against it though the combination of Peter Maher and Derek O'Connor could see Black Benny run well at a big price.
