In depth

Verdict

This has been won by some useful types including Warne in 2012 but he was firmly put in his place by GENTLE CLOUD at Killarney last month though the winner was decidedly fortunate to be left in the lead at the last. Five times a winner between the flags, he can gain his second victory under Rules here though Shin A Vee won't go down without a fight as he jumped really well to score at Punchestown last month. The once useful Slieveardagh was a long way behind the selection at Killarney and looks a light of other days but the youngster Red River Gold has been showing massive improvement between the flags recently and could be open to further progress in which case he would get involved.
