LIGHT SHINE just failed to catch the winner over a mile at Ascot in July. She's a half-sister to a middle-distance winner on the all-weather and John Gosden's filly can get off the mark in this. Zeyran was fancied for her racecourse debut at Nottingham but came up short in the soft ground. She'll be thereabouts again today along with Ehtedaam, who should improve on his sixth at Kempton in September. The remainder have plenty of catching up to do and will do well to figure.
