Quite a few of these are out of form so it could rest between three that have shown something recently, Iced Diamond, Siraj and Sharoura, with the first named just having the edge. Mark Brisbourne's gelding was only beaten a couple of lengths in a hot Chepstow handicap last time, a good performance after losing ground early from a poor draw. He had good form here a couple of years ago so looks the one to beat here. Siraj could go well at a decent price, he put up a decent display when a close up fourth behind Prince of Gold at Wolverhampton last time. Sharoura is from a top yard and has to be considered on his recent third to Locombe Hill. Sharoura's stable companion Pertemps Magus can also be given a squeak on earlier form, but Iced Diamond is in top form at present and gets the vote.
