        Verdict

Sir Mark Prescott won the inaugural running a year ago and Yvette follows a well-worn theme for the yard, taking a huge leap in trip from a lowly mark. She'll be expected to do much better though it's about time COGITAL was winning. Amanda Perrett's charge has now had 13 starts but hasn't been beaten far in recent races and was staying on strongly over 1m6f at Salisbury last time. Colwood has the advantage of a course and distance victory and has also won over further at Southwell so a stamina test will suit while Lucy Lou makes her handicap debut from a lowly mark after the regulation three runs. Break The Rules, who gained a shock victory in a four-runner race here in March, didn't run badly at Newmarket last time and isn't without a chance.
