      Verdict

      In The City won a maiden race over a mile at Newmarket and the Haggas colt should stay this extra distance. But WAPPING (NAP) was beaten less than a length at Newbury on his seasonal and handicap debut and should be sharper today. He gets the vote with maiden winner California Lad and Totally Committed both upped in class but Hollywood Road bids for a hat-trick after wins at Newmarket and Sandown and looks a threat. Al Shahaniya, Frozen Force and Goldenfield have all won earlier in the year but now have a bit to prove off their current marks.
