        Verdict

        The Defiant made all on both occasions when landing a recent double over today’s trip. He’ll go close again if allowed his own way on the lead while Blissful Song returned to form with a second at Newcastle recently and is fitted with a visor for this. Lothian ran well over track and trip in January when ahead of STORM MELODY but the latter has subsequently placed in a higher grade sprint than this at Wolverhampton and Ali Stronge’s charge gets another chance.
