In depth

Verdict

This is a competitive race to round off the card but Jahia, Levantine and Armatrading look to be the leading players and the vote is given to Jahia. The selection won easily over 7f on this track last time and she gave the impression that day that a step-up in trip would benefit her. She looks progressive and she is clearly the one to beat. Levantine was allowed a soft lead and was probably flattered by his finishing position last time when fourth behind Lord Chamberlain at Wolverhampton. Armatrading is blinkered again today but she ran too keenly with them on last time when disappointing and although she could go well she has plenty to prove at present. Bulawayo is another capable of getting competitive in this grade so he is worth noting in the market, but Jahia looks to be going the right way and he is taken to score.
