Zafarshah is the tentative choice in this wide open handicap, with Hard To Catch, Fearby Cross and Nearly A Fool also on the shortlist. The selection is well drawn and has the services of the very capable Seb Sanders. He is a course and distance winner who ran with real credit last time out when a close fourth behind Harrison Point over this course and distance. He had the worst of the draw on that day and looks capable of making amends here. Hard To Catch has been in fair form of late but has done all his winning over 5 and 6 furlongs so he is passed over for that reason. Fearby Cross ran well behind our selection last time over this course and distance, and as that was his first run after a break he could be capable of better, while Nearly A Fool has shown all his best form on this track but he may struggle in handicap company even though he has been in good form recently. This is not an easy race to predict, but we will make Zafarshah our tentative choice.
