The Conrad Allen-trained Prince Aaron has really come into himself in the last six months or so and looks to be one to keep on the right side of for the time being. Therefore, the son of Marju is selected in his quest to land the hat-trick of wins, with in-form rivals, Ripple Effect, Whippersnapper and Madrasee the pick of the opposition against him. The last-named has the form over course and distance to make this a real test for them all but he is creeping up the weights and will need everything to drop right if he is to figure today. Pheckless appeals on the pick of his form out of the rest but he is notoriously hard to win with and support for him may best limited for a place at best. In contrast, Prince Aaron arrives here at the top of his game and could easily still be a stride or two ahead of the handicapper. Gary Carter gets on well with the four-year-old and the partnership are fancied to weave their way through late to thwart them all near the finish.
