      Verdict

      Though nominally racing in the same grade as when beaten only a nose at Wolverhampton last week, STRIKE FORCE looks to have an easier task today. He beat both Viola da Gamba and Strewth when runner-up over C&D earlier and makes more appeal than Miss Blakeney. The latter had to be dropped back into maiden company to open her account and Resplendent Alpha is much more reliable having won a seller here last time. Simayill has struggled all year but does have the past form to figure if back to her best.
