The consistent Type One is taken to land the spoils here with Byo and Ripple Effect set to fight out the places. Terry Mills had this five-year-old at the top of his game during the summer with victories here and at Sandown. He was last seen in October when chasing home Waterside at Windsor , and if fit after a two month absence should take all the beating. Byo is contesting is 24th race in twelve months but shows no sign of fatigue having finished a close up fourth behind Panjandrum here ten days ago. Legal Set had some good form here last winter and can take a hand in proceedings, however for the main threat to the selection we turn to Ripple Effect, who was too bad to be true last time out but is better judged on her previous outing here when comfortably beating Royal Fashion. Chris Dwyer¿s filly though may find Type One just too strong.
