        Verdict

        There looks certain to be plenty of pace on here, which will suit Smokin Joe, who can get on over on old stagers Madrasse and Double M, who will do there bit to ensure there will be no quarter measures accepted. The last mentioned. along with Parkside Pursuit, is just about the best in at the weights and will be a tough customer to deal with whatever happens. However, he has struggled to recapture his form lately and may find at least one more determined today. Madrasse has to be a serious consideration, as she has some useful form to her name at a slightly better level than this. However, she has been vulnerable at this trip in the past and is another that may be there for the taking near the finish. Which is where we expect Smokin Joe will be seen at his best in the race and he can swoop late to conquer again
