A wide open contest here with many in form rivals in opposition including Temper Tantrum, Florian and Sangiovese and we will take a chance on Florian. The colt from the Terry Mills yard has held his form well this season and was a fair third behind Indian Welcome last time. He is a course winner over a longer trip and although the drop in distance is a slight worry he has plenty of pace and is taken to win again. Temper Tantrum rates the main danger she is a course and distance winner and was a fair third behind Deeper In Debt last time that form has since been franked so she will not be far away. Sangiovese is also worthy of respect he was a fair third behind Ellen Mooney last time and is sure to be fitter for the run. The booking of Jamie Spencer for Mistral Sky catches the eye as he won well when defeating Smith'N Allen Oils last time. Of the remainder Karaoke King would be a danger to all on his best form but that has been over six furlongs and he has yet to conclusively prove he stays this far so we are happy to stick with Florian.
