        Verdict

        Imjin River has been in better form on the Polytrack of late but 15 attempts on Turf without success tempers enthusiasm for him. Red Mischief posted an improved effort at Salisbury a fortnight ago and has claims on that but SPEIGHTOWNS KID is given another chance. He never figured in a much tougher race at Newmarket last time but a repeat of his earlier placed efforts at Kempton and Newbury would see him come out best in this. The Tichborne will take advantage of his big slide down the weights eventually but has shown no signs of doing so of late.
