James Street has more to do than when successful on the all-weather here last time, while Alwariah, who ran better last time, is still proving to be expensive to follow and preference is for Eversden. The Clive Cox-trained colt lost all chance that he had at the start at Sandown last time but ran promisingly once finally racing and the combination of the drop in his handicap mark and the extra furlong suit. Mr Cellophane is a long-standing maiden and may be booked for a place again, while Thoughtsofstardom has been on the go for some time now, without winning, and may now need a break. Littledodayno ran better at Carlisle last time and would be of interest, particularly if the market spoke in his favour, but the vote goes to Eversden.
